Anthony Oneal

Is financial educator and content creator who I had the pleasure of seeing a couple years ago at FINCON. He is someone that I’ve followed in the financial literacy space because I like his approach to money management and how he delivers his message.

Start With A Story

  • People are attracted to stories, so use stories to draw people in.

  • Have a YOU message …what’s your message what are you passionate about

  • Use your personal message to connect with your passion

  • People respect authenticity

  • Be real!

Keep Your Speaking Engagements the Same at the Core but Incorporate New Life Experiences

Find ways to evolve your speaking engagements as you experience more in your life. Use those experiences to help create more talking points and lessons.

Be A Sponge of Daily Life Experiences

Always learn. If you’re not learning, you’re not earning.

Don’t Practice Humor, Be Funny Naturally

Being a professional speaker, you can’t force being funny even stand up comedians don’t practice humor the way you think they do. Think of the person that forces the dad jokes vs the person that just has a knack for telling stories in a funny matter, when you are speaking to a crowd you don’t want to force your joke

Study the Culture of Who Booked You

Don’t go into an environment without a scouting report.
